| The GTC-20 turret provides high speed indexing of 0.3 seconds from station to station. |

| SPINDLE |
| Spindles is powered by 15 KW (20 hp) Fanuc αi (Pi22) AC wide range spindle motor. The wide range constant-output spindle motor provides full power cutting throughout most of the spindle speed range. Pi-type motors also provide super-fast acceleration and deceleration to cut down cycle time. |

| CONSTRUCTION |
|
The 30° slant design provides extra rigidity for heavy cutting and large swing for unobstructed machining.
Tooling is easily accessible for fast set-up. Built to withstand rigorous hours of high production turning, the heavily ribbed one-piece machine base and casting parts are made of solid Meehanite casting.
Extra-wide slide ways are widely spaced and protected by way covers on all axes. All slide ways are hardened, ground, and heat-treated. Slide surfaces are coated with Turite B for fast, accurate positioning and to maintain accuracy throughout the life of the machine Fanuc absolute AC servo-drive motors power anchored ball screws allowing fast acceleration and deceleration. These proven designs offer maximum rigidity and stability, while delivering durability and ultimate roughing performances.
